Counselling Young People

As well as adults, I see young people from 11 years and above in my practice. The benefits of early support and a non-judgemental and confidential space during the often challenging teen years is unparalleled. 

Just as with adults, going at my client's pace is vital and I will never make anyone talk about something that they don't feel comfortable with. 

With over 14 years experience working with teenagers and having studied the psychological, biological and emotional development of young people, I know just how important and challenging these years are. 

If you're reading this, I can already tell that you're doing so much. The best thing we can ever do for our children is be a consistent, present and accepting person in their life. Seek out support when needed and be open that as adults, we don't have all the answers either.
